Area 1: JaHe Human Diseases

Research Center For Jamu and Herbal Medicine focuses on preventive measures against the development of degenerative diseases (PTM) by utilizing Indonesia's biodiversity. Studies are carried out by exploring plant active compounds that are useful for the prevention of disease development. The active compounds are tested in vitro, in vivo and in silico.

Area 2: JaHe Herbal preparations

Research Center For Jamu and Herbal Medicine focuses on making herbal medicine in several forms (nutraceutical, topical, herbal, and functional food). The advantages of herbal medicine are determined based on study results.

Area 3: Community Service

Purpose: The study result will disseminate at the seminars, conferences, workshops, elective block lectures. The study results also will introduce to the community so that it can be used by the community.

Jenis Layanan

Project 1: Nutraceutical
We do phytochemical and phytopharmaca studies. We do in vitro, in vivo and in silico test for the active compound of the plants.

Project 2: Herbal preparations
We research and develop the herbal medicine in several forms to obtain the optimal results. We conduct research the materials that have been used by Indonesian community but not have been truly examined.

Project 3: Preparation of Topical Medicines
We develop the topical herbal medicine for antiseptics and disinfectants.

Project 4: Functional Food
We develop probiotics functional food and relate it to the human gene expression (nutrigenomics).

Project 5 Community Service

We train the community to make herbal medicine product to improve their welfare, and educate them in using the herbal medicine.
